Kristen Kerwin, Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner
I began studying healing arts in 2017 at the Jaguar Path School of Ancient Peruvian Shamanism. In an expansive, nine-month shamanic practitioner certification program, I studied energy mechanisms, tracking and seeing, leading others through their restorative journey, and integrating one's body and consciousness.
In 2022, I received my craniosacral therapy certification from the Great River CranioSacral Therapy Institute (GRCTI) in Nyack, NY after completing the Advanced Craniosacral Therapy and Somatoemotional Release Training Program. In 2023, I completed an additional year of high-level training at GRCTI and continue to develop my skills in the 2024 advanced training program.
I work as the Director of Communications for a non-government organization that shelters, nourishes, feeds, and provides lifelong care for children and adults with disabilities worldwide. From Zimbabwe and Malawi to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, I have the honor of traveling to meet remarkable people in cultures outside of my own — learning all along the way. I couldn't think of a more meaningful way to put my B.S. in Communications to good use. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the mission of this organization.
